North Weld County Water District (NWCWD), is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from potential bidders for various upcoming projects classified as, “Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation Projects” (Projects).
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to pre-qualify bidders for the furnishing of all tools, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for required maintenance and rehabilitation work on various potable water storage tanks owned and operated by NWCWD. Scope of Work, Drawings (as required), and Project Specifications will be provided for individual Projects. The sizes of the tanks included in the various Projects range from 150KG to 5MG. Tank types are either on-grade welded steel or steel tower. Project scopes may include (but shall not be limited to) abrasive blast cleaning, application of interior and/or exterior coatings, miscellaneous repairs, and extensive structural repairs. Construction will be in general accordance with NWCWD’s Design Criteria and Standards, except where modified by the specific designs for each Project, and appropriate ANSI/AWWA Standards.
All Contractors who desire to bid/propose on these Projects must submit a SOQ in accordance with this RFQ to NWCWD no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on the SOQ Due Date. The timeline for this process is as follows:
- 08/28/2020: RFQ advertised;
- 09/25/2020: SOQ Due Date – SOQs are due to NWCWD;
- 10/02/2020: The Approved Contractor List (ACL) will be posted on nwcwd.org
