TAP CAP LIFTED, RESTRICTIONS STILL IN PLACE
North Weld County Water District no longer has a cap on the number of taps allowed to sell per year but restrictions are still in place regarding zones and new development.
The District is only selling taps in Zones 1, 2, 7, and 7B to potential customers who have an existing water service agreement (like in a subdivision) or a valid letter of intent.
The District is still granting customers well release letters regardless of zone or letters of intent/water service agreements. Customers simply need to make a direct request to the District. We are not accepting Water Tap Request Forms.
The North Weld County Water District Board of Directors approved the following rate changes, which went into effect on April 11, 2022.
The rate of Raw Water Fee changed from $58,000.00 to $62,500.00.
The allocation surcharge changed from $2.00 to $6.00Kgal.
All other rates and fees remain the same.
