A message from our District Manager

I would like to thank those who contacted the District or participated in the informational rate meetings for your time and excellent questions.  The questions, feedback and discussions brought many good points to the surface.  While the ballot issue did not pass, it was simply an option for District funding to provide for major infrastructure maintenance and  improvements, as well as water purchases and water storage projects.  At the November 12 Board Meeting, the Board will consider a 10% rate increase for all customers and a Plant Investment fee increase for the coming year to address our funding needs.  Rate increases for 2021 and beyond are expected to be based on the Cost of Service rate model unless other funding sources become available.
