Independent Mail Ballot Election Information

North Weld County Water District Independent Mail Ballot Election for Director Districts 3, 4, and 5 will be held on May 5, 2020 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  At that time three (3) directors will be elected to serve three (3) year terms for Director Districts 3, 4, and 5.  Eligible electors may vote for candidates in any Director District regardless of the Director District in which they live or own property.

North Weld County Water District did not solicit Candidate Profiles from the candidates for the May 5, 2020 election.  Any campaigning done by the candidates is under their own supervision and subject to Campaign and Political Finance statute and rules.

Applications for absentee voters’ ballots are available in the office of the Designated Election Official:

An application for an absentee voter’s ballot shall be filed with the Designated Election Official no later than the close of business on the Friday immediately preceding the election, which date is Friday, April 28, 2020.

The Office of the DEO is open on the following days: Monday through Friday (with the exception of holidays), from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

At this time, the state has not released any information regarding how COVID-19 will affect or change the election.

It is recommended that you mail your ballot or drop it off in the locked drop box on the south end of the parking lot at the District office.
